Initiative-Toronto is a group founded in 2018, formed to develop and promote the Lacanian orientation in Toronto linked to the New Lacanian School (NLS). NLS is one of the eight schools of the World Association of Psychoanalysis and has made a place for Initiatives in different cities in and beyond Europe: Initiative–Amsterdam (Pays-Bas), Initiative–Berlin (Allemagne), Initiative–Vienne (Autriche), Initiative–Moscou (Russie), Initiative–Tirana (Albanie), Initiative–Ukraine (Kiev et Donetz), Initiative–Toronto (Canada).
